Identifiant Fiscal du logement ( Housing tax ID) : now a mandatory requirement in residential leases.
Article 5 of decree no. 2023-796 of 18 August 2023 amended Appendix 1 of decree no. 2015-587 of 29 May 2015 on standard tenancy agreements for accommodation used as a main residence,
by including new mandatory information that applies to both bare and furnished tenancy agreements. These include the obligation to state the tax number of the property (which is not that of the owner).
If the property is co-owned, as many tax numbers must be stated as there are co-ownership lots (flat, car park, cellar, etc.).
